Desert Underground 2022

Lucerne Valley, CA | # of participants: about 300 |

The venue was tucked away and hidden by a small drive through the desert. Once I arrived to the site, I was greeted by Will the vendor coordinator, so I set up my booth close to the stage. There was one stage but the soundsystem was boomin’ and the visuals from the projector were on point. It was a cold Winter night and I remember layering up because the temperature dropped below freezing. it warms me up to meet the other vendors and the attendees, and it’s especially sweet to see familiar faces.

What really warmed me up were the bonfires and the flow arts blazing up the night sky. I occupied most of my time by live painting with the other artists and sharing stories with people around the bonfire. I love when I can inspire others to make art or to continue making art. By painting in public I feel like I can inspire so many people. I enjoyed vending at Desert Underground, and I am looking forward to more events hosted by Lost and Found (Instagram @lostandfoundbeings).

Alameda Art Fair

This was my first experience collaborating on a painting with the wormhole mural squad (@wormholemuralsquad). The crowd was a friendly family vibe with a good amount of vendors and an art gallery at Studio 21 to keep everyone entertained

Renascence 2022

Laytonville, CA | # of participants: about 500 |

The venue was on a huge plot of land filled with 3 stages of bass music.

Although they placed the vendors in a weird location, I had a blast vending and meeting new people. There were amazing live painters displaying their coolest work, and the venue itself was amazing. It was tucked away in Humboldt County with a big lake 15 minutes away from the camp grounds.

La Honda 2022

La Honda, CA | # of participants: about 500 throughout the weekend |

Vending in the hippie town of La Honda was refreshing with a crowd of down-to-Earth people. I really appreciate their sense of community and the history of the place too. Neil Young performed there, and Ken Kesey started his acid test in this forest neighborhood

I’m grateful for the opportunity and I am looking forward to vending here in the future

Liminal Space 2022

Santa Cruz, CA | # of participants: about 100 |

This was an intimate setting with live music jamming in the background. Everyone contributed to the night with immaculate vibes, and I remember selling a vintage necklace to a person who wanted to regain the love of their life with a gift. I brought my friend Laeq with me, and we spent a good amount of time live painting by my vending booth

I made a good amount of sales and met some really cool people. I was impressed by the paintings from the other artists, the food vendors had decent food, and I had fun participating for this event
